![]() Yes, it seems so at face value, but as to the precise nature of the stuttering, only you and grouser can know if they were similar. (So far) the "becoming unresponsive while recording" situation has not recurred. So my situation has been rationalised to a new installation and I will see how it works out. (Red circles)īut still I have removed a number of preference and cache files that were previously duplicated in the /Library folder - they are no longer there. What it actually did was to put the following files and folders back. Maybe you could clean out the preferences and caches and restart it again running 368 instead, it might be a good idea to try.ĮDIT: I was wrong, The highlighted text in red above is incorrect, that's an incorrect statement. So I'll run it for awhile, it seems to be working okay so far. I removed them all then run the program again, and now it only put files back only into the Application Support folder in the main /Library folder. I discovered there were files both in the /Library folder as well as in the User's ~/Library folder. I used Appzapper to locate them, Show in Finder and then put them in the trash. So just yesterday I removed all the helper files, cache files and preference files for it. In the last few months it has been periodically becoming unresponsive while recording. Whereas previously the same program never had this problem. I don't know if that's due to the program or due to my computer! It kept getting stuck in record mode recently, becoming unresponsive requiring a force quit. As far as I know 368 runs fairly well, but I have seen a few minor glitchy problems with it too. The only reason why I haven't gone to 369 is that I found the source selection menu in Handbrake no longer respected date modified after compacting a program, so finding the compacted file again was a bit of a problem, it should have appeared at the top of the list. ![]() Try replacing it with EyeTV 3.6.8, that's the one I run. ![]()
